Wishing you a happy new year, I would like to thank you for your explanations I used in my last post titled http://www.portailsig.org/content/python-visualiser-et-traiter-des-donnees-spatiales-de-type-xyz-shapefiles-ou-mnt-srtm. It is about view and process of spatial xyz data type (shapefiles or
SRTM from NASA) with Matplotlib, Shapely and Mayavi2. After my explanations for the shapefiles and the SRTM data, I used your image of “mapping water drainage with SRTM elevation data in Python” to illustrate the final part of my paper. If there is any problem, I withdraw it.

thanks Martin, I’m glad you found the post useful! I’m happy for you to use it that way. It’s an interesting article too … I haven’t seen Shapely before, but it looks useful!
